KIGALI Nike Air Pegasus 92 Baratas , Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Rwanda's Prosecutor General Jean Bosco Mutangana Thursday called on his counterparts in the East African Community to bring Rwandan genocide suspects in their countries to justice.


He was speaking at the opening of the 6th annual general meeting of East African Association of Prosecutors in Rwandan capital Kigali.


Mutangana said Rwanda had issued indictments for several Rwandan genocide suspects. He asked the prosecutors to ensure the suspects are either brought to justice or extradited to Rwanda.


Ayub Mwenda, Tanzania's deputy prosecutor general, said his country is ready to bring any suspect Rwanda indicts and is found to be living there.


Rwanda has indicted about 600 genocide suspects said to be living in different countries in Africa Nike Air Zoom Pegasus All Out Flyknit Baratas , Europe, North America, and New Zealand Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 Baratas , according to prosecution.


The 1994's Rwandan genocide left around one million people killed, mainly Tutsi and moderate Hutus.

WASHINGTON, March 28 (Xinhua) -- International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde on Monday announced her decision to renew David Lipton's five-year tenure as the first deputy managing director starting Sept. 1, 2016.


The proposal still needs approval from the IMF's executive board.


Lipton Nike Air Pegasus Baratas , a U.S. national, has worked as the first deputy managing director of the IMF from Sept. 1, 2011.


"Combining international expertise Onitsuka Tiger Baratas , public sector policy making and private sector experience, and a proven track record in economic crisis management, David has demonstrated over the last five years his excellent policy making acumen Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Baratas , and invaluable appreciation of IMF policies and procedures," Lagarde said in a statement Monday.


Before joining the IMF, Lipton served as senior director for International Economic Affairs at the National Economic Council under the Obama administration Asics GT Cool Express Baratas , and was undersecretary for international affairs at the Treasury Department under the Clinton administration.


He also worked as the head of global country risk management at Citibank and worked with hedge fund Moore Capital Management.

NAIROBI， Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Majority of Somali refugees at the Dadaab camp in northeast Kenya are not willing to return home， a new report by international medical charity， Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) revealed on Thursday.


The charity said the current humanitarian situation in many parts of Somalia， with high levels of insecurity and a widespread lack of medical care， means that the necessary conditions for a safe and dignified return are simply not met today.


According to the report， 86 percent of surveyed refugees in Dadaab do not want to go back to Somalia. Fears around insecurity were acute with nearly all -- males and females -- stating that the risk of sexual violence is high. MSF is therefore questioning the "voluntary" nature of the returns that the UNHCR is helping facilitate.


"The fears that the refugees tell us about are real. It is crucial that any return is voluntary， and refugees must have all necessary information about the services and conditions which will meet them in Somalia，" said Liesbeth Aelbrecht， Head of Mission for MSF in Kenya.


MSF reiterated that setting up Dadaab style camps across the border is shifting responsibility and abandoning the protection of refugees. It called on international community to share responsibility with Kenya.


It said other more durable solutions， such as smaller camps in Kenya， increased resettlement to third countries， or integration of refugees into Kenyan communities， should be urgently considered.


As the announced closure of the world's largest refugee camp draws closer， and thousands begin the return to war-ravaged Somalia， MSF called for other alternatives to be urgently considered by Kenya and the UNHCR， supported by donor countries.
